Bio
  Marion Sanders is a Social Worker and human rights policy advocate. She has spent the past decade as a systems leader and a thought partner in the creation of effective programming and policy designed to remove barriers for people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles County. She is a Deputy Director at the Homeless Outreach Program Integrated Care System (HOPICS), a division of SSG. HOPICS is a multiservice nonprofit with an emphasis on behavioral health and housing. A large part of her role is overseeing the South Los Angeles homeless system of care, focusing on improving access to services, street-based engagement, interim housing, and regional coordination. Marion serves as the regional representative on the Los Angeles Regional Homeless Advisory Council and is the vice-chair of the South Los Angeles Homeless Coalition. In 2022 she completed a national policy fellowship through the Urban Leaders Fellowship program. Marion has an MSW from USC and an MPA from CSULB.
