Mr. Samuels has twenty-five years of experience working with local, state, and national organizations on developing systems designed to make homelessness rare, brief, and non-recurring. Since 1997 Eric has helped strengthen Texas' Continuums of Care (CoC), including building the TX BoS CoC, which covers most of Texas' non-metropolitan communities. Currently, Eric leads THN to engage systems of care to build collaborations that will complement the work of the state's eleven homeless crisis response systems.

 In 2015, Mr. Samuels was named President/CEO of Texas Homeless Network. Mr. Samuels holds an M.A. in Sociology from Texas State University and received his B.A. from the University of Arkansas. Eric and his wife Leslie have two young children, Renn and Asa.
