Angela N. Adams is the Assistant Director of Section 8, for the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA). HACLA is one of the largest Housing Authorities with over 48,166 participants and several Homeless Programs. Angela, she has served in this position for the past 12 years and oversees the HCV program as well as the Inspections Department. Angela is currently the Vice President of Professional Development for SoCal NAHRO and Vice President of CAHASC. Angela is a proud Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Desert Shield/Desert Storm and she Retired from the US Army Reserves as a Command Sergeant Major after serving 30 years. Angela has a Master of Arts Degree from Bowie State University in Human Resource Development and a B.A. from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in Social Work with a Minor in African American Studies and Health Science and Policy. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
