Kris Freed oversees all our homeless program’s operations, diving deep into our programs, contracts and regulations, and shaping our new team structure during this time of incredible growth. Informed by more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit homeless service sector, she specializes in designing homeless services with an emphasis on coordinating service delivery across multiple systems. Kris leverages her analytical and managerial skills to effectively manage millions of dollars in budget and contractual requirements.
Kris was also integrally involved in the development, implementation and roll-out of the Coordinated Entry System (CES) for Families in Los Angeles and actively sits at several policy tables including the Continuum of Care and CES Board. Kris often conducts local and national trainings on program design, service delivery, shared housing and implementation strategies. She holds a BA in Sociology and a Master’s in Public Administration from CSUN.
