Dana White joined the team at True Colors United in 2019 as a Program Officer in technical assistance. They were also among the 2019 cohort of the Executive Program in Social Impact Strategy, at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Social Impact Strategy.
Dana has spoken in numerous professional, academic, and community spaces, including keynotes at Wesleyan University’s Latinx Convocation, Hofstra University, and the Northeast Queer and Trans People of Color Conference at Princeton. Other engagements have included the US Conference on AIDS, and the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research's 2021 E.R. Brown Symposium. Their political perspective and social criticism has gained a social media following of over 60k. Given the Kuwasi Balagoon Award in 2020 by Black & Pink for their voice and visibility as a person living with HIV, they've appeared in public health campaigns from the CDC and DC Health.
