Kahlib Barton-Garçon (he/they) is the Co-Director of the Technical Assistance department with  True Colors United (TCU), a member of the legendary House of Garcon, a DC Black Pride and Luna Khan Youth & Action awardee. Being a young activist/advocate from Texas, Kahlib is most passionate about Black femme liberation, meaningful involvement of people with lived experience in the creation and implementation of solutions, and addressing health disparities through ending homelessness.  Kahlib elevates collective care, targeted universalism, and transformative justice practices as a means to address inequity across the country. They continue to find and create spaces that people who have historically been placed at the margins can begin to fill to utilize their experience as expertise.
