Sage Johnson is a community leader in her field of advocacy. Believing that young people are the future and making that known in every space she occupies, Sage is a force to be reckoned with and a peer to have by your side.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Sage is no stranger to spreading the love and wealth of knowledge in her community whether that be through introducing her neighbors to resources, volunteering for charity events, or speaking to a class of graduating high school seniors on resilience and how to flourish through adversity as they transition into adulthood; may the odds be forever in their favor.
Leveraging her own experience with homelessness, Sage speaks with policymakers and stakeholders on best care practices to circumvent chronic homelessness in young adults and uplift the voices of those in the system. Early on Sage was awarded The Marsha P. Johnson Award for her continued service and dedication to the Black Los Angeles LGBTQ Community.
